Position: Logistical Parts Coordinator Location: Buffalo, NY Reports to: Corporate ______________________________________________________________ Relay Express, established in 1986, is a Logistical Solutions Provider specializing in logistical warehousing, inventory management, cross-dock distribution, first mile and final mile delivery, and on-demand transportation needs. With locations throughout the Midwest, Relay Express is positioned to provide warehousing, local pick-up and delivery, and a variety of on-demand solutions on short notice. Relay Express is operating a location in Buffalo NY that focuses on logistical warehousing, cross-dock distribution, and critical parts inventory management. We have an immediate opening for a dedicated staff member to lead our 24/7 operation. Responsibilities: Have a complete understanding of Relay Express' warehousing/logistics, services programs, customers and service parameter definitions. Follow customer specific SOP and insure all inbound and outbound completed daily. Responsible for keeping the warehouse looking professional, clean, safe, and organized. Sign for and complete all incoming and inbound deliveries according to customer requirements. Pull parts for all outgoing orders, making sure that you have read each order specific requirement(s). Ex: correct quantity, contact names, part numbers, serial numbers, and return packs, etc. Be able to provide detailed information on each shipment coming into and being shipped out of the warehouse. Make deliveries as needed up to 50% of your shift. Perform daily, weekly, and bi-weekly cycle counts as needed. Maintain professional attire, language, and business demeanor in all dealings with customers, employees, and vendors. When time permits, organize and move unknown quantity of parts as needed for efficient use of warehousing space. Forklift certified. Other duties as assigned: Requirements: Monday–Friday: 8:00-17:30 with some weekends as needed. 24/7 coverage. Saturday and Sunday on call needs as detailed. Overtime pay. Ability to serve as the backup delivery resource on nights and weekends when necessary. Approx. 10% travel as needed to other markets for training and continuing education - Greater Midwest region. Ability to adapt to changing customer needs and driver availability. Serve as a liaison between customers and the operations team. Compensation & Benefits Hourly Range $12:00-$14.00/ Hour based on experience. Delivery miles reimbursed at $.40/mile. Medical Benefits after 90 days. Premium paid at 80%.
