The customer Service Representative is the engine of American Courier Service! Utilizing a high energy approach, the CSR will clearly and quickly identify customers, needs and enter orders as needed. Providing excellent customer service is essential in this position. Industry experience and some college coursework is preferred but not required. Duties and responsibilities include: Help manage current customer accounts Deal with high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls Enter orders into our online dispatch system Provide exceptional service to our customers Solve Customer problems and address any issues Job Requirements: High quality written and verbal communications skills Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment Dependability Problem Solver Quality decision making Knowledge of database software, internet software and order processing systems Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Ability to read and comprehend and write simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
